At St. John Vianney School, we try to develop in each student a respect for self and others, pride in one's appearance, and good manners. These traits aid in establishing a proper learning environment. To help encourage these traits, promote unity, develop a good self and school image, decrease peer pressure by lessening the clothing competition among students, and keep clothing costs down, the uniform policy posted below will be enforced by the faculty and administration.
All students wear uniforms consisting of polo shirts (red, black, or white) and tan bottoms (pants, skirts, or jumpers). Black, gray, or brown shoes must be plain (not plaid, polka dot, etc.). Shoe boots must not come above the ankle. Tennis shoes must be primarily black, gray or white. Sandals must be black, brown or white. Sandals must be close toed with a strapped heel to be safe on the playground and worn with socks. Crocs are not acceptable shoes for the playground. All students can wear our approved fleece jackets and students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade can wear the approved middle-school jacket.
