All school families with a student enrolled in K-8 are required to participate in a fundraising program called SCRIP. Families purchase gift cards at face value from the school and use them in place of cash, checks or credit cards when paying for everyday purchases (groceries, gas, dining out, shopping, etc.). Since the school gets the gift cards at reduced value, they earn a rebate for each card purchased. It’s a simple and convenient fundraiser that parents prefer over selling things like candy, magazines, and wrapping paper. Each school family with a student enrolled in K-8 is required to purchase SCRIP totaling $3000 annually.
St. John Vianney School uses a payment management program called FACTS. Families set up an account and then choose the tuition payment plan that works best for them (one payment in full, one payment each semester, one payment a month, etc.). Many school fees and activities are also handled through FACTS reducing paperwork and check-writing for families.
St. John Vianney Parish families of students in K-8 are expected to contribute $1000.00 to the parish through the church envelopes, online giving, or by enrolling in an automatic withdrawal plan.
